The Chronic Care Center has been officially founded by Mrs. Mouna Elias Haraoui,
on January 22, 1993 by ministerial decree number: 18/ADThis institution acquired
its non-governmental and non-profit making organization status on June 17, 1994
according to law number: 5341

Endocrinologist, Neuroendocrinologist, (Paris 6, University).
Founder and President of the Lebanese Diabetes Society (IDF Member).
Manager of the National Diabetes Program (MOH).
Reporter of the Diabetes National Diabetes Committee (MOH).
Former Member of the Executive Board of the Endocrine Society.
Professor of Internal Medicine, Lebanese University.
Member of the American Diabetes Association Middle East insulin and neuropathy working group.
Member of the DASG (Diabetes in Asia Study Group).
Member of the steering committee of Arab Group Diabetes Studies.
He participated in many clinical studies and researches in the field of Diabetes and endocrinology. He was the main organizer of the "Diabetes WS Education" held under the patronage of the Ministry of Public Health and World Health Organization.
Member of the Chronic Care Center Association (2013).
