Treatment of a Diabetic Patient
The cost of treating an insulin dependent diabetic patient at the Chronic Care Center is around
1500$ yearly. Patients until their age of 21 years are provided with all the medications & materials needed for treatment & monitoring of their disease. Partial treatment is offered to selected patients who can not afford to take in charge their treatment after that age.

Treatment of a Thalassemic Patient 
The  cost  of  treating  a  Thalassemic  patient  at  the  Chronic  Care  Center  ranges  usually from 4000$ to 10000$  yearly. This  depends  on  the  severity  of  the  disease  (Thalassemia  Major or Thalassemia   Intermedia). Patients  are  provided  with   all  the  basic  medications  &  materials  needed for the treatment.
